Q. Why should we book through Events Ltd and not an agent?
A. When you book through an agent they usually work as an employment agency and your contract is with the band. Should anything happen to the band you could be left without entertainment, with Events Ltd. your contract is directly with us leaving you knowing we will always be available to overcome any emergencies.
Q. What makes Events Ltd different?
A. Events Ltd work for you, our client, we negotiate between yourselves, the entertainment and the venue to make sure everything runs smoothly. We work full time as an entertainment company giving you the freedom to contact us at your convenience day or night.
Q.Are your entertainers used for weddings?
A. All our entertainers are experienced and have been working in the wedding sector and come with recommendations. All our entertainers’ equipment is safety checked which some venues require.
Q. How do they dress?
A. Smartly to suit the occasion remembering they will be playing for four hours, but if you would like them to wear something different we can arrange it.
Q. What type of entertainment do you work with?
A. We have a varied array to ensure your day is special they are all professional, reliable and very friendly which means a lot to us. We always look to the venue size as to what entertainment would compliment it.
Q. How long does it take them to set up?
A. We will negotiate with the venue beforehand as to where the entertainment should be set up and when they can have access, it could take between 30min to an hour depending on which entertainment you are having. We make sure all parties know exactly what is happening as this can cause friction if for example the meal or speeches overrun.
Q. Can you do theme weddings?
A. Yes we can organise whatever you would like.
Q. Can you arrange anything else?
A. Yes, as we are part of Events (Scotland) Limited, we now offer wedding planning for the full wedding or selected items leaving you stress free.We also organise private functions, anniversaries, and high school proms and also do outside events and corporate work.
Q. Do you offer discounts?
A. Yes depending when your wedding is i.e. During the week / out of high season. Whatever you want, we will deliver in a manner you would expect from a friendly and professional company.
